Towing off-road requires a strong trailer’s weight distribution systems and the DO35 can handle anything.
Forged steel, high-quality polyurethane, laser-cut stainless steel and precision casting have been brought together to increase the strength of the coupling yet also reduce weight.
The DO35 coupling can handle all that you can throw at it, but at its core, it still retains the simple drop-on attachment method loved by travelers worldwide.
If you’re looking to switch out your Lock ‘N’ Roll with a Cruisemaster, please see the below steps.
IMPORTANT: Our kit comes with the DO35 Coupler for the trailer and the DO35 Tow Pin. The Tow Pin must be attached to a standard class III or IV ball mount with a 1-inch diameter ball hole. You will purchase the ball mount separately based on the rise or drop needed for your vehicle. The instructions provided show how to mount both the DO35 Coupler to the trailer and the DO35 Tow Pin to your ball mount.
IMPORTANT: To install the specialist Cruisemaster tow pin into the ball mount, 400 lbs torque is required, per Cruisemaster Guidelines. Installation may not be achievable with a standard toolkit and may require a heavy-duty torque wrench rated for more than 400 lbs of torque.
